Lawrence Mitchell is a second-generation antique furniture restorer and dealer with more than 25 years of experience working with exceptional objects. Raised in the antiques trade in Oxford, Lawrence trained in traditional cabinetmaking and restoration before establishing successful restoration businesses in the UK and Australia.

Now based in Auckland, he restores and conserves antique furniture for collectors, designers and private clients, while also sourcing and importing distinctive pieces from around the world. Alongside his antiques work, Lawrence cultivates and hires bonsai and period pieces for film, television and events.

Every piece is approached with respect for its history, craftsmanship and character.
