Very nice mid 20th century tubular steel chairs called Stak-a-Bye by the Englishman Harry Sebel in Australia after emmigrating their in 1951. This pair is in the more scarce burgundy red colour and still have the seating liner on the seat . They have gained a lovely worn patina over their years and have obviously been loved and used.
This Stak-a-Bye model of chair is in many design collections around the world including MAAS, National Powerhouse Museum in Australia.
