A very nice, unusual, aged copper and brass palm lamp. These were made in the 1970’s in Italy at the height of the mid century design boom. This is an original one and shows the patina of wear, tear, age and use, it has been fully rewired and is currently fitted with three extra large coconut sized bulbs. The inside of the copper and brass palm fronds are gilt so as to refract the light when lit giving a warm glowing light.
It has in the past been bolted to something, it was common to attach these to custom made stands or direct to the floor.
It does unbolt into components for delivery.
Measures 160cm high by 85cm diameter.
