A beautiful rustic 19th century French oak coffee table. The base is originally from a very low dining table by Parisian cabinetmakers J.Emery & Ragot with the makers name etc stamped into the top of the column. A custom glass top was made for it and holds in location with turned oak cap. This style of carved table is often refered to as a hunters table due to many being custom commisionned for the well to do's country retreat hunting lodges. The table retains its original finish and superb patina from time.
